[ OSCAR IN THE FIELD — CANDID, DOCUMENTARY FEEL ]
OUR STORY

Ninety percent of Uganda never makes it into a tour package.

The lodges that cost half as much and feel twice as real. The fishing villages where the catch comes in at 5am. The roads that take you somewhere a van full of strangers will never go.

I built Unfiltered Uganda because I spent years filming this country and watching tourists leave without seeing any of it. You will not have that problem.

WHERE WE TAKE YOU

Four destinations. Zero filler days.

[ MURCHISON FALLS — DRAMATIC WIDE SHOT ]
MOST POPULAR · 3 DAYS

Murchison Falls

The Nile forces itself through a gap seven meters wide and drops 43 meters. You will hear it before you see it. This is also where Uganda’s largest lion population roams.

From $480 per person

[ QUEEN ELIZABETH — KAZINGA CHANNEL ]
BEST VALUE · 3 DAYS

Queen Elizabeth

Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha. Hippos so close you can hear them breathe on the Kazinga Channel boat. More species in one park than most countries have in total.

From $500 per person

[ BWINDI — GORILLA CLOSE UP IN FOREST ]
BUCKET LIST · 3 DAYS

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

One hour with a wild gorilla family in their forest. Researchers have spent thirty years studying these animals and still say the same thing: nothing prepares you for it.

From $1,500 per person · Permit included

[ ENTEBBE — LAKE VICTORIA GOLDEN HOUR ]
NEW · 1 FULL DAY

Entebbe Day Experience

Most people sit in the hotel and wait for their flight. The ones who go to Kasenyi fishing village at sunrise, walk the Botanical Gardens at dusk, remember Entebbe for a different reason.

From $120 per person

THE QUESTION EVERYONE ASKS FIRST

How much does gorilla trekking in Uganda actually cost in 2026?

The Uganda Wildlife Authority sets the permit at $800 per person. That is non-negotiable and it goes directly to conservation. Low season permits — April, May, and November — cost $600. Every Bwindi package we sell includes this permit in the listed price. No surprises on arrival.

Uganda permits also cost half what Rwanda charges for the same animal. That is $700 back in your pocket for the same one hour that changes everything.

WHY TRAVELERS CHOOSE US

Three things no large operator can offer you.

01

You are not in a group of twenty strangers.

Six people maximum on every trip. That is the hard limit. It means you get into places buses cannot reach, eat where drivers eat, and spend your evenings in actual conversation instead of waiting for your turn at the buffet.

02

Your guide has a filmmaker's eye, not a script.

Most guides tell you what you are seeing. We help you see it differently. There is a gap between knowing a fact about a mountain gorilla and understanding what it means to sit three meters from one. That gap is what we close.

03

You get a real answer within two hours.

Send us an inquiry today. By the time you finish dinner, you will have a full PDF itinerary with exact pricing, honest drive times, and a specific accommodation recommendation. Not a template. A real response.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

The best time to book a gorilla permit is before they are gone.

Permits sell out months in advance during peak season. July and August are gone by March most years. Send us one message today and we check availability, build your itinerary, and hold your dates while you decide.

No deposit required to make an inquiry. We respond within 2 hours.
